Execupay, a leading provider of software and technology to
payroll service companies throughout the United States, worked with
fecher to migrate the Execupay Payroll Suite (EPS) from Gupta
SqlWindows to C#. fecher needed only a short 6 month porting cycle
to return a new version of the comprehensive software solution
based on the latest Microsoft .NET framework to Execupay in June
2011. After concluding the test phase and implementing some
additional software refinement by their in house development team,
Execupay expects the new EPS to arrive at the first client sites in
fall 2011.
Execupay Payroll Suite (EPS) was originally implemented in Gupta
SqlWindows with the first version released in 1997. Over time, the
program's set of modules grew to support all primary tasks
associated with providing payroll services, from tracking time,
printing checks, human resource management, reporting, tax and FICA
compliance, to sales and service, as well as an online component.
In the end, the code summed up to more than a million SAL code
items and almost 200 different reports that needed to be converted
to the new technology platform.
