As an amalgamation of more than 30 companies, the nGroup is one of Germany's leading software companies for business solutions. As it had become increasingly difficult over the years to integrate the Gupta-based ERP application eEvolution with clients' existing application landscapes, add new components and link to the web, it was decided to migrate the complex software to the modern .NET platform. The entire porting project was completed in only nine months, ending with the handover of the new .NET codes, which run error-free.
Switching to the .NET framework enabled us to carry out a technological change in the direction of SOA, which provides users with completely new possibilities such as the integration with other applications such as Microsoft Office products and web platforms.
