hunterMOBILE presents a mobile information-platform

Browser-based access to the hunter database for all mobile devices.

This is what one imagines a modern knowledge worker's daily itinerary looks like: Immediately after landing at the airport, on the way to the client's office. On the road, checking the most recent status updates per iPad. Using a laptop to prepare an extensive presentation for the CEO of all of the potential candidates for the next round of interviews. And then sending emails with appointment confirmations via smartphone to the selected candidates.

hunterMOBILE makes it possible - it gives you browser-based access to your hunter database from all mobile devices including iPhone, iPad, Windows Mobile and Android-based smartphones and tablets. Plus access via all conventional browsers on Windows, Mac and Linux in your home office, a client's office or a public Internet terminal.

As with hunter classic, consultants using hunterMOBILE can access all projects, people, companies and activities but also mobily. Access is only granted to the information to which the individual's access rights refer. The customary four buttons are used for navigation. All results are displayed in clearly arranged lists containing links to additional information. All of the mobile device functions such as finger operation, on-screen keyboard with multi-touch or dragging and sliding/pushing are also available. As the software is closely integrated with the respective mobile platform, you only have to tap on an email address or a telephone number to send an email or make a phone call, it is just that simple.

All of the usual fears to the contrary, the internet technology actually ensures the highest level of security. As no confidential information is saved to the mobile devices, such information can not fall into the wrong hands, for example, if a smartphone is stolen. In each case, only the information required for display is called up from the hunter server and is transmitted via encrypted internet connection. A customary combination of user name and password ensures that the authentication is secure. As there is in general a risk of being spied upon in an Internet café or a public Wi-Fi hotspot, two-factor YubiKey authentication further increases the security.

A hunterMOBILE prototype has already been presented and has been very well received. The development team is currently working feverishly on the final version which will be released this fall. Feedback received from a select group of users, who downloaded a pre-final version of the software, will flow into the final version. Are you interested in participating in such testing? Let us know!
