Unify is now Daegis Inc.
Name change to underscore firm's focus on application software
Subsequent to the 2010 merger with Daegis, a U.S.-based provider
of software for the securing of evidence used in court cases, Unify
is now taking another step in the direction of application
software: With effect from July 6, the company will now also be
called Deagis Inc.

This is an apparent confirmation of its users' fears that the
company's focus is moving even further away from Gupta, the 4GL
tool it purchased in 2006, as well as the other development
platforms.
